About Kristin

Writing has been my lifelong passion, carried from childhood through my studies at the University of Oregon. When I lost several loved ones in quick succession, I was asked to write their tributes. Even with years of writing experience, in the depths of grief, I found myself struggling for the right words to capture the essence and spirit of my loved ones. That experience showed me how much people, experiencing loss, need support to honor the lives and memories of the their loved ones.

From that understanding, I created Louanger. Rooted in the spirit of New Orleans— where life is celebrated in every chapter — Louanger exists to preserve stories with heart, dignity, and beauty. Whether marking a milestone, remembering a loved one, or capturing a moment worth holding close, I craft tributes that ensure every story is told with warmth and care.
